Stress-Free Doggy Daycare
in Wake Forest, NC
Our doggy daycare is our most popular service! Dogs visiting Audrey’s Barkyard for a play day get roughly 6 hours of play. We typically separate the dogs into 3 groups; smaller/older dogs and 2 rowdy, playful groups that consist of our bigger guests. We have tons of dogs that are our ‘regulars’ and form their own little cliques; because of that we try to always put the dogs that are best friends in the same group! Be sure to ask about our daycare packages to save yourself some money and don’t forget to peek in on the cameras to watch your pet having fun!!
A Typical Weekday at the Barkyard
- 6:50am-9am: Potty breaks for boarding dogs, cuddle time for our boarding cats, breakfast/medication and usually the busiest time of day to check in.
- 9am-12:30pm: Group play.
- 12:30pm-2pm: Break time, lunch/snack time for guests that require a midday meal, one-on-one time and walks for our Silver and Gold package guests. This is also when we spot clean our play areas and give special attention to our feline guests.
- 2pm-5:15pm: Group play.
- 5:15pm-7:00pm: Usually the busiest time of day to check out.
- 7:00pm and later: This is when we do our heavy cleaning, dinners/medications, final potty breaks and tuck in our guests for the night. We also prepare for the next day during this time.
A Typical Weekend at the Barkyard
- SATURDAY: Our Saturday is basically the same routine but shorter as our hours are 8am-4pm.
- SUNDAY: There is no daycare and typically no group play on Sunday. Our boarding guests get plenty of TLC, walks and our standard feeding schedule. Boarding guests can be checked in/out from 4pm-6pm.

DAYCARE REQUIREMENTS
- INOCULATIONS FOR DOGS: Your dog must be up-to-date on their rabies and distemper inoculations. We also require a clean fecal test and Bordetella booster every 6 months, not annually.
- PLEASE NOTE: The exceptions to this requirement are as follows:
- RABIES EXCEPTION: Puppies younger than 4 months are not required to receive the rabies vaccination. After 4 months, it is required.
- MEDICAL REASONS: Any vaccination that is restricted due to medical reasons, requires a letter from your veterinarian prior to arrival.

The staff are friendly and interactive. The facility is clean and well equipped. We like the live camera feed for doggy daycare and boarding. They offer a large variety of affordable services. and discounts for packages. Our pug puppy Annabelle always seems to be comfortable going here.
My mom takes me to Audrey’s Barkyard while she goes to work. I know I am going to have a great day when she tells me to get in the car to go see my friends. I LOVE to play with my dog friends and I really LOVE all of the incredibly sweet, fun and loving humans that take care of me like family. My mom is so happy to see me when she picks me up and I’m so tired from playing all day that I take great naps. My family is so thankful to have such a wonderful place for me to play!
