Dog Trainer

Hello I’m Doran. I grew up in the Midwest, but now I happily call Wake Forest home. I am a U.S. Army Veteran with almost 10 years of service. When I’m not training dogs, I’m either spending time with my family, hiking, camping, or out on the golf course working on my game! I’ve been with Audrey’s Barkyard for two years. I was given the wonderful privilege to attend and complete the Audrey’s Barkyard Training Apprenticeship under Mark! To me, dog training is very satisfying and rewarding. I take great pride in the way I train dogs. I make sure that the dog and client both understand the exercises and leave the lessons fully prepared and confident to go on to the next step! I am a balanced reward-based trainer that is able to work with a wide variety of behaviors. I truly enjoy training dogs and I look forward to helping you achieve your goals as dog owners.

Q: How long have you worked at Audrey’s Barkyard?
A: I have been working at Audrey’s Barkyard for about 3 months.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about working here?
A: My favorite part is playing with the dogs.

Q: What’s your favorite breed of dog and why?
A: My favorite dog breed is a Golden Retriever because they love to play and are goofy.
